Deja Story

Deja Story is the 8 year old daughter of Stephanie Bashor and Marcus Story of Johnson City, Tennessee. She is currently in the 3rd grade at Mountain View Elementary School. Deja is exceptional in her studies and wishes to become a Veterinarian after college. Her favorite subjects are math and science. Deja has been awarded the Citizenship award every year for her trustworthiness and compassion of others. She hopes to receive the award again this year. ​
Deja is a member of Mr. K’s Dance Crew, where she does hip hop dance. She has performed at the Blue Plum and Umoja festivals in downtown Johnson City, TN. She is passionate about dance, as well as, art. She loves to draw and paint in her free time. Deja is a strong swimmer and loves to practice different swimming strokes. Recently, Deja has started to play the keyboard and hopes to learn the piano one day.
Deja Story’s gentle, compassionate, funny, smart, and beautiful personality has won the hearts of many people. She has been blessed with the opportunity to serve as Junior Miss Buc 2012 on the ETSU Royal Court. Deja is excited for this opportunity and is looking forward to what the future holds for her.
