Miss ETSU 2012

Jessica Daniel is the 21 year old daughter of Phyllis and Kenny Daniel of Lynchburg, Tennessee. She is a graduate of Moore County High School, Motlow State Community College, and is currently a senior attending East Tennessee State University pursuing a degree in Finance Banking. Her scholastic and career ambition is to maintain Dean's List honors recognition throughout my undergraduate studies, to be accepted into the Masters Health Care Management program, and to work at St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.

Jessica's accomplishments are receiving an Outstanding Dance Award at Dance Makers, performing at Walt Disney World, Annual Music City Bowl, and Battle of the Bands. She was also selected as a National Dance Makers and Showstopper performer, and an All Star Cheerleader and Dance. A few interesting facts about Jessica are throughout her dance career she has performed with Music City Rockettes, danced with Broadway performers at workshops in Nashville and Myrtle Beach, SC, and was an All-Star competition cheerleader. In her free time, she likes to scrapbook, make collages, collect shells, and motocross riding.

Jessica's family history has many stories of heart disease, and her family has experienced the anguish that it can also bring. With her family close to her heart, that is why she has chosen her platform of One Beat at a Time to help raise awareness for the American Heart Association.

Jessica Daniel's personality, grace, and smile stole the judges heart on April 21, 2012. She captured the title of Miss ETSU 2012 through Alpha Phi Omega. Jessica plans to serve the organizations platform “Give Kids the World” and her platform “One Beat at a Time.” Jessica has big plans ahead of her for the year 2012-2013 with her title.
